Start your day with a convenient hotel pick-up between 08:00 and 08:30, as your guide and driver welcome you on a fascinating journey to discover the highlights of Hanoi.

By 08:45, arrive at Tran Quoc Pagoda, peacefully situated on Golden Fish Island in West Lake. As the oldest pagoda in Hanoi, dating back to the 6th century, it offers a serene atmosphere and beautiful lakeside views—perfect for a calm and spiritual start to your day.

At 09:30, continue to the Ho Chi Minh Complex, an important historical and cultural site. Here, you will have the opportunity to visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, where the revered leader rests, and explore the surrounding gardens and the simple stilt house where he lived and worked from 1954 to 1969. Nearby, visit the iconic One Pillar Pagoda, a unique architectural symbol of Hanoi dedicated to the Goddess of Mercy.

Please note: visitors are required to dress modestly (covering shoulders to knees). The Mausoleum is closed on Mondays and Fridays, and annually from mid-June to mid-August for maintenance; however, you can still visit the surrounding area and take photos.

At 11:15, visit the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology, where you will gain valuable insight into the diverse cultures and traditions of Vietnam’s 54 ethnic groups. (On Mondays, this visit will be replaced by the Vietnamese Women’s Museum.)

Enjoy a delicious Vietnamese lunch at a local restaurant around 12:45, with vegetarian options available.

In the afternoon, at approximately 14:00–14:15, continue to the Temple of Literature (Van Mieu – Quoc Tu Giam), Vietnam’s first university, founded in 1070. This well-preserved complex is a symbol of the country’s long-standing respect for education and learning.

At 15:15, visit Hoa Lo Prison, originally built by the French between 1886 and 1901. Known as “Maison Centrale” during the colonial era, it was once called “Hell on Earth.” Today, it serves as a museum offering powerful insights into Vietnam’s struggle during the French colonial period.

After exploring the historic temples, hop on a bicycle for a leisurely ride around the peaceful countryside, offering a closer look at local village life and scenic landscapes.

At 12:00, indulge in a delicious buffet lunch at a local restaurant, featuring a wide variety of Vietnamese dishes such as goat meat, spring rolls, fresh fish, chicken, fried rice, and vegetable salads. Vegetarian options are always available, ensuring a satisfying meal for every traveler.

Trek through terraced rice fields and follow the gentle flow of Muong Hoa Stream as you make your way to Lao Chai village, home of the Black H’mong people. At 14:45, regroup with your fellow travelers at the hotel and prepare for your return journey to Hanoi. By 16:30, board the bus and begin the drive back, with two comfortable rest stops along the way.

Arrive in Hanoi between 21:30 and 21:45, where you will make your own way back to your hotel. Tour ends.

At 08:30, after breakfast, our driver will transfer you to the cable car station for your journey to Fansipan Peak. Enjoy a spectacular 20-minute cable car ride, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the Hoang Lien Son mountain range and lush valleys below.

Upon reaching an altitude of approximately 2,800 meters, take time to admire the incredible scenery, capture stunning photos, and visit the sacred pagodas and spiritual sites along the way. For those seeking a rewarding challenge, continue trekking up around 600 steps to reach the summit of Fansipan – known as the “Roof of Indochina.” Spend about 1.5 hours exploring, hiking, and enjoying this unforgettable moment at the top of Vietnam.

At around 12:00, descend by cable car and return to Sapa Town.
